Japan thanks Indonesians for relief aid

Padangekspres.net-Japanese Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto went to Indonesia’s Foreign Ministry to thank the nation for the aid it has given to victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

Matsumoto was greeted by Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa at the Foreign Ministry office in Pejambon, Central Jakarta on Saturday.

“Thanks to the nation and people of Indonesia for all cooperation with Japan,” Matsumoto wrote on in a guest book in the lobby as reported by tempointeraktif.com.

Matsumoto was scheduled to meet with Marty to discuss bilateral relations and future disaster relief efforts before proceeding to a meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the afternoon.
